Next on my todo list is finishing off the r/c Tiger 2 that I started last year.

The upper hull turret and barrel is air brushed dunkel gelb.

After the main coat was applied I hand painted on a red brown camouflage pattern.

    1. The camouflage on this model was painted freehand. I only airbrushed the base colour. It’s actually easier to hand paint than it may seem. Basically I would use the lightest colour of the scheme as a base coat. Then for any additional colours have a look at any reference images to get an idea of how much of that colour covers the model. From then on I just follow The style of the box art / image I am using until the coverage of each colour looks the same. You can always use a pencil to mark out where you are going to paint first or cut some templates out of masking tape to help you out. The trick is not to get worked up too much about doing an absolute carbon copy of the source material as each vehicle would of looked slightly different anyway.
