I have just received the first 2 packs of an exciting new Star Wars part work build. This is a half scale R2-D2 which with both remote control and autonomous modes. It has a number of cool features including, a camera, sensors, face recognition and image projection. This subscription is currently in a test limited to areas of the UK.
I think it is a no brainer that this will become a fully fledged subscription soon. Note I have not started building anything yet as I have not decided whether to build this stock, respray it or varnish the parts. I am also considering the possibility of weathering the model.
The first issue comes with camera and circular light housings for R2’s head and part of one of his arms. There is also an led boards for the circular light.
The second issue comes with one of the legs and some metallic details to attach to it.
