Tamiya Isuzu mu

I recently took my CC-01 Isuzu Mu on holiday with me. Here’s a short video and some photos of it in action.

The CC-01 has easily become my favorite Tamiya chassis. It runs well out of the box without hop ups and gives a great scale look. The only thing I changed in mine was to use a 55t motor.

Twin Hammers Rock Crawler / Buggy first drive

A short video of my first drive with the Twin Hammers Rock Crawler / Buggy.

I was not going full throttle as I was only driving with one hand and this was towards the end of the battery.

Its great fun to drive and I was surprised at how often it wheelies from a standstill. It is very easy to tip over at speed and therefore requires much more brake control than most vehicles.

Already Stripped the Spur Gear on my Buggy

Luckily they are cheap and easy to get hold of.

Listen for the nice crunching sound in the video.

My first entry into nitro R/C

My first experience in nitro R/C come in the shape of a Panda Stadium truck that was a pretty cheap buy being a discontinued model. I soon found out the downside of purchasing a discontinued model is the difficulty of getting spares. I will not make that mistake again.

The truck is a good entry into nitro rc not too fast and pretty reliable,  just don’t crash it! You will be searching online for hours to get parts.

Here is a video of me running the truck around a scrapyard.
